HYC Christmas Party December 2021
The Haslar Christmas party was held at the premises of Hornet Sailing Club on the evening of Saturday 4th December 2021. Due to Covid concerns, numbers were slightly down this year but 25 members and their guests attended. After our welcome drink on arrival, our newly elected commodore welcomed us all to our first Christmas party since December 2019 and what a long wait it seems to have been!

East Cowes Rally 9/10th October 2021
The End of Season Rally followed on from a very successful talk by Mike OMeara on 'Raising the Gold on HMS Edinburgh' on the Friday evening. On the Saturday morning, the fleet set sail for East Cowes. Although one boat had travelled across earlier in the week, most arrived by early afternoon. There was very little wind, so only one boat 'sailed' across. Well done to Jonathan and the crew of 'Blue Moon'.

Lymington July 2021 - Report 1
The weekend of the planned rally to Lymington did not have the most favourable of forecasts and understandably, as the weekend got closer, numbers dropped. It has to be said that the rally leader also was not happy with the weather and took the tarmac option to attend the pontoon party and the dinner on the Saturday evening. However there were two brave crews, Misty Moon and Blue Hoolie. . 'Misty Moon' left Haslar

Chichester Rally - 10 July 2021
Our rally to Chichester this year was limited by the numbers that could be catered for in the Chichester Yacht Club. Continuing covid restrictions and staff difficulties being faced by many in the hospitality industry meant we were asked to keep the rally to a maximum of 24 headcount. Initially we looked like being full although there was capacity for additional vessels. Unfortunately, Stewart & Helen got the dreaded ping into isolation just before the
