Inviting a 'new crew member' to join you on your boat/booking

Before you invite someone to join you on an event, such as a rally, they need to be a member of your 'crew'.   Members can't invite themselves onto other people's boats unless they are a member of that crew.   So, the boat owner needs to add the person to their crew first and then invite them to a rally.

First, log into the web site.  Then go the 'my crew' page on the 'portal (via bookings and logbook' page), where you can see your current 'crew'. To add a person, use the 'Members Directory link' at the top, search for the person, select the person and use the button 'Add to Crew List'.

Once the member is a member of the crew, they can join events on that boat.
