Talk: "Haslar Marina: Past, Present and Future" by Ben Lippiett

Join us at Haslar Marina's new meeting room (next door to the Marina office, also known as Unit 2) for an interesting talk on the history and recent developments of Haslar Marina given by Ben Lippiett, Marina General Manager. The marina was built in 1993 and Ben's story will describe the early people, planning and design of the marina, through to recent investment and improvements.

We will be able to buy ourselves a drink in The Creek restaurant from 7 pm and take the drinks with us over to the talk.

After the talk, at 8:30 pm, we should be able to enjoy a pre-ordered meal in the The Creek. Although the new restaurant has not officially opened yet the Marina staff have been negotiating for those Club members who are attending the talk to have exclusive access on the night. 

The new itinerary for the evening is:

         19:00                     Meet at The Creek restaurant if you want to buy yourselves a drink

         19:30 - 20:30         Talk on The History of Haslar Marina in meeting room (unit 2)

         20:30                     Pre-ordered meals to be served in The Creek restaurant
