The Steamship Shieldhall talk 6 February
This was an excellent talk by Volunteer Stoker Paul Hurst in anticipation of the clubs trip on the ship this coming July. SS Shieldhall was built on the Clyde in the mid 1950s and launched in July 1955. She was a replacement for the first Shieldhall which had been operating on the Clyde for over 45 years. Christmas Party 2025
Our annual festive party took place at The Hornet in their lovely Clubroom with its wood panelling, sailing photographs and club burgees plus, at this time of year, Christmas trees and decorations of course. 2025 AGM - 14th November 2025
The AGM was held on Friday 14th November at the Hornet Services Sailing Club. 39 members attended. Members were rewarded with a drink on the club on arrival, to kick off what is essentially a social occasion with that important business on the side. Once again we were able to purchase Christmas cards and diaries from the RNLI branch members in attendance before the meeting. RNLI report £158 sales and £15 donations received. After More »
