Visit to 'Shore Leave Haslar' charity

Join us for a guided tour around the Memorial Garden within the old RH Haslar hospital site to see the work of the charity Shore Leave Haslar. The tour will be guided by Shore Leave Haslar chair Chris Robson.

Based in the Memorial Garden within the old RH Haslar hospital, Shore Leave Haslar is a horticultural therapy project for veterans who have a range of physical and mental health support needs.  They use the power of nature and gardening to help with the rehabilitation of those who use their services.  

For anyone who requires parking it will be through the main gate and then you will be directed back out to the pathway along Haslar Road, with access through the green gate.  

We will meet outside the Hospital at 10:30 am and the tour will take approx. 1 hour.
