Bembridge Harbour mid-week Rally 2026
Bembridge Harbour Rally 1st - 2nd July 2026
Please note the date change to 1st & 2nd July. The dates for this rally have been changed to 1st & 2nd July to avoid a clash with the Haslar and Gosport Marina's summer party on Saturday 4th July.
The Isle of Wight's hidden eastern gem, Bembridge Harbour is a large, picturesque harbour within a SSSI and Special Protection Area. For those who want a short passage to a rally and the ability to catch up with Clubmates this is the rally for you.
We will be holding a "bring a bottle" pontoon party on Wednesday followed by a BBQ in the marquee on site. We will book one of the large gas BBQs, you just need to bring your own food. Alternatively, you should be able to buy a pizza from Duver Cafe and drinks will be available from Steve's Bar.
Shoreside Facilities: Bembridge are delighted to say that they are now in their new facilities and admin building at the Duver Marina. The Berthing Office and Galley Locker are on the ground floor and admin on the 1st floor, with separate ladies and gents shower and toilet facilities on both.
Booking: basically, once you have booked on the HYC website you will then need to also book your boat onto the Bembridge Harbour website and you should please note their cancellation policy (see their Terms and Conditions).
This is how it works: first, book your boat and crew on the HYC website in the normal way.
Second, book your boat onto the Bembridge marina website https://www.bembridgeharbour.co.uk (Berthing / On-line booking) quoting the Rally Code HYC28. This has to be done by the closing date of 12th June (3 weeks before our arrival date). During the online booking process, you will be asked to select either
the Duver Marina Rafting Area (along the main Duver pontoon) or Duver Marina*. Please be aware that Finger pontoons are only for boats up to 12.8m LOA and are available to all visitors and are therefore subject to availability - early booking is advisable.
*Boats over 18m LOA, multihulls, and boats with a beam over 4m will need to book through the Berthing Office as they cannot book online.
Please be aware that although the Club has booked for a specific Rally date, Bembridge Harbour do not reserve specific berths and rally members should therefore book their berths online to avoid disappointment. This is particularly relevant during high season, when they recommend that bookings are made well in advance as these dates fill up quickly and especially for finger berths.

After the closing date, boats not yet booked, or additional boats wanting to join the Rally, will be very welcome to book on an individual basis, subject to berthing availability. Please notify them in advance of any specific berthing needs.
The Rally Code covers only the dates of our Rally. Anyone wanting to arrive earlier or stay longer are very welcome and can make a single online booking on their Customer Account (the system will automatically adjust for any relevant rally discount).
Online Discount: All online bookings receive a 5% discount on berthing fees. Boats unable to book online are charged at the Standard rate and are not eligible for discount.

Navigation: Access to the Harbour is restricted to High Water + or - 3 hrs for vessels drawing 1.5m. Please check your almanac and the Bembridge website www.bembridgeharbour.co.uk , click on the Navigation tab to see a full description of all matters relating to safe navigation into and out of the harbour. The dates for the rally have been chosen to give a reasonable arrival time on Saturday and departure time on Sunday. HW Portsmouth on 4th July is 15:20 BST
