Commodore's Reception

The Commodore's Reception is less than a week away!

It's been 3 whole years since we last held our summer party also known as the Commodore's Reception. We are delighted to confirm that we are now going ahead with this event and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us.

The party will be taking place at The Hornet Services Sailing Club, who always look after us very well, on the evening of Saturday 23rd July from 7 pm to 11 pm. The Hornet bar will be open from 7pm and they will be laying on a cold buffet for us, starting at 7:30.

Entertainment will be provided by local singer/guitarist, entertainer and HYC member Derrick Ince (Del). Derrick's set will start at 9 pm and dancing is most definitely encouraged so ladies, please bear that in mind when deciding what shoes to wear! The dress code for the evening, previously advised to be "smart casual", has been changed to "comfortable party wear." in view of the current heatwave. This a party and hopefully the weather will be kind so come along and enjoy yourself!

If you wish to invite non-Club guests you are very welcome, the more the merrier we say.

Prices are £25.00 for Club members and £30.00 for non-member guests.
