East Cowes Rally 5th September 2020
Join us for our first "socially distanced" club rally of 2020. We have pulled together an event at short notice that enables members to participate in a rally that has been organised with necessary safeguards around protecting members from Corona virus.
Berths: have been reserved for a maximum of 15 boats. Please book online on the Haslar YC web site for the number of nights you wish to stay. As is usual, there will be a charge for the Saturday night berthing, less our Haslar discount. Haslar berth holders will benefit from their reciprocal free berthing arrangement for other nights.
Please settle berthing fees direct with the Marina.
There will be no rafting so all boats will have direct access to pontoons.
Dinner: we have made 30 reservations for dinner at the Lifeboat at East Cowes. We will be seated in small groups at a number of tables. The Lifeboat appears to have strong social distancing in place which they appear to take seriously.
There is an App which you can download Lifeboat Cowes in order to order food and drink from your table.
We need to pay a £5 deposit per head for dinner which for ease of administration, the Club will pay on behalf of members and reclaim at the end of the evening.
Given the short notice we need to agree final numbers by Wednesday morning (26th August) at the latest, so, if you would like to join the rally

After Wednesday, marina berths and restaurant places will be released to others. The Lifeboat was fully booked this weekend, but they have substantially reduced their covers.
