Haslar Yacht Club Christmas Party 2023
Join us as we celebrate the start of the festive season and as in previous years we are really pushing the boat out and promise a full-on Christmas Party. We are pleased to be able to use Hornet Services Sailing Club once more which means we have space for more people, great food, drinks, entertainment and dancing! The Hornet staff always look after us very well and the room will be decked out with Christmas and table decorations.
The evening will commence with welcome drinks with your Committee from 6:30 pm giving us the opportunity to catch up with friends and get us into the party mood. This will be followed by a two or three course meal in the Hornet Club House with live entertainment by the very talented and lovely singer Katy Kelly who will be performing a range of sets from traditional Christmas songs through to popular dance numbers. Post dinner dancing is always fun so bring your dancing shoes!
Dress code for the evening is black tie/smart for the gentlemen and ladies wear your best party dresses.
The ticket price includes a welcome drink, your choice of a two or three course meal, coffee and mince pies, entertainment and most of all lots of fun!
Tables can be reserved and up to two guests per couple are welcome. When you book your guest's tickets and enter their names the website will know that they are non-members and will apply the appropriate price. You can also indicate who you would like to be seated with, whether they be your guests or simply friends within the Club.
The running order for the evening is:
18:00 Bar opens in Hornet Clubhouse
18:30 Members arrive, welcome drinks served in foyer, seating plan will be on display
19:15 Take your seats for dinner
19:30 Dinner is served, relaxed Christmas classics will be performed by Katy Kelly during dinner
21:00 - 21:45 Party set being performed by Katy, dancing for those who want to!
22:15 - 23:00 Second party set performed by Katy
23:00 Bar closes and farewells

Starters
Roasted Tomato & Red Pepper Soup (Ve) with a balsamic & basil garnish

Main Course
Traditional Christmas Turkey served with all the trimmings
Sirloin Beef (£3.00 supplement) patatas bravas, smoked tomato jam & water cress
Salmon Delice ginger & sesame dressing with butternut & sweet potato mix
Beetroot, Kale Tart (Ve) spinach pastry glazed in pomodoro sauce

Christmas pudding (Ve/V) brandy butter and rum and raisin ice cream
Chocloate Brownie rustic nuts & meringue
Trio of Cheeses quince paste, crackers & celery
