Jubilee Rally to St Vaast

A cross channel trip to the Normandy Fishing Village of St Vaast.

With the benefit of the extra bank holiday, this rally takes us across the channel on a 80nm crossing.

St Vaast is a fascinating port with its mussel and oyster beds serving the Paris market and its active fishing fleet. You can be sure of some spectacular seafood. A visit to Monsieur Gosselin will further stimulate your taste buds and his wine cellars are a must for a visit. They'll even deliver directly to your boat!

Lead boat for the sailing boats will be "Sparkling Spirit" with Tim & Jenni Waite advising where necessary on your passage planning and leaving with you on both the out and return legs. Lead boat for the motorboats will be "Tallulah" with Brian & Dawne Dunton offering similar services although "Tallulah" will be going onwards to the Channel Islands after leaving St Vaast.

Berthing arrangements will be made ready for you arrival. VHF Ch77 will be the inter-ship radio channel with "Haslar Yacht Club" as the rally call sign for group broadcasts.
