Summer Party 2025 Provisional
We have changed the date of our Summer Party to Friday 15th August 2025 and we hope that this date will be suitable for more of our members and their guests. This year we holding the party on the recently restored Lightship at Haslar Marina, with its superb setting, fantastic views, bright lights and wonderful layout.
The theme for the party is "Bright Shirts and Skirts" so let's see you wearing lots of outrageous and fun Hawaiian shirts and skirts!
The bar will be open from 6:00 pm and they will be laying on a cold buffet for us, starting at 7:30. Entertainment will be provided by local singer and guitarist, our good friend Derrick Ince so be prepared to dance and have a great time!
If you wish to invite non-Club guests you are very welcome, the more the merrier we say.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON TICKET PRICES: If you book your tickets please do NOT pay for them at this stage. This is because the party will only go ahead if we have enough people - 40 is probably our minimum for the party to be viable. If we reach that number by the end of July then the party will go ahead and you will be asked to pay for your tickets then. Please do book if you want to go, there's no risk because if the party is cancelled due to insufficient numbers you will not have lost any money. When you book you will receive an invoice from the Club but DON'T pay this money until you are asked. This makes thing very much simpler for our hard-working Treasurer who will not have to issue refunds in the case of cancellation.
Ticket prices are £27 for Club members and £30 for non-members.
