Trafalgar Day Dinner

Trafalgar Dinner Celebrate the greatest sea battle in history and raise a glass to Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson, whose most famous engagement, at Cape Trafalgar, saved Britain from potential invasion from Napoleon This event is sponsored by the RYA and we are grateful for their help and support.

We will meet at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum (http://www.submarine-museum.co.uk) at 7.00 pm. Tours of HMS Alliance will be available until 8.00 pm when we sit down to our three course meal (see trafalgar night menu.pdf). I will be collecting your menu choices for you and your guests nearer the event.

Our after dinner speaker is Tom Cunliffe who probably needs no introduction to most of you. Read about Tom at http://www.tomcunliffe.com.

Given the significance of this day, it would seem appropriate to have "yacht club smart" as our dress code for the evening (jacket and tie for gentlemen please and no doubt, as usual, the ladies will look spectacular).
